how to sell an item in oblivion

hi i am new to the elder scrolls oblivion and already arrived in town. i went up to a merchant but there is no sell button. can someone tell me how to sell an item? i have to much weight on myself and need to unload a little

 

In the merchant window, one of the buttons on the bottom will be for sell, click the button, your items should come up, then double click on an item you want to sell.

hey wait if you knew that, does that mean you play oblivion too? cool!

 

He might not currently play, but may have played in the past.

I played most of it on the 360, and the shivering isles expansion (very funny).

 

I thought that was only for PC

 

PC, 360, and PS3, I believe.

 

eh. too bad seph doesn't play as many video games as you do.
