How to run games, need system folder ???

I have bought an r4 and want to run the games I got here I have transfered them to the r4 and put into my dslite, but they do not work. I was told I need an system folder.. Help

 

Do you have the kernal on your microSD card , And what type of R4 do you have from the box ?

I have a R4 revolution for DS {ndsl/nds} is what is on the box. my son has sent a system file to me by mail. it has a few files on it , he said put it onto the micro sd card. and the games will work. Please what is a kernal ???

 

If its a original R4, That means not SDHC types
