    why i want to :

because when i go on to my computer it sometimes gos to the blue screen of death and it looks like this

A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

    INVALID_WORK_QUEUE_ITEM

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any Windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.

    Technical Information:

    *** STOP: 0x00000096

    Beginning dump of physical memory
    Physical memory dump complete.

Contact your system administrator or technical support group for further
    assistance.

and when it does work it randomly beeps until i turn it off and it doesn't work when its beeping the beep is when you press down lots of buttons down on the keyboard it sounds like that

well all that i have to say now is that i am using windows xp x86 on a Packard bell computer.

Most new prebuilt computers come with a hidden partition that acts as the restore.

Call your manufacturer (they usually have a 1-800 number you can call) and they will guide you through the restore process. Or it may be in the literature that came with your computer.

I've never done it, so I can't tell you the usual steps, but my cousin is pretty much computer illiterate and she was able to restore hers very easily with the help from the Tech support.

Or use the recovery DVD/S you created when you first used the Laptop LOL

by reinstalling windows it will completely wipe the system when you delete a partitioned space.
if it is not the original cd that came with the laptop then you will need to reinstall all of your drivers.
you can probably find a driver pack at your computer manufacturer's website
