well, i;m trying to install kaspersky 2009 and when i click the install the express installation, its said to delete a incompatible software, and thats AVG 8, well, i search my entire system and it still detecting AVG 8, so... any solution for that? i read in the internet that i need to use a shreder or something like that program that permanently delete the file, but the problem is, i might delete everything...
well, its not visible anymore, everything deleted... should i download it again and reinstall then delete it again?
indeed, it deletes registry files and stuff like that, which is most likely the source of your problem. www.ccleaner.com - it says what it does, and the download link is there as well. also, in the future, use revo uninstaller (www.revouninstaller.com). when in uninstalls something, it does a deep scan on your hard drive for leftover files.
did the cleaner, the damned thing is still there, unless the problem is with kaspersky.... do they have an issue with avg? nvermind, i just reintalled and removed avg again...fixed the problem.
