how to put cheat.dat in r4

    I put a cheat.dat (Which I download here http://www.mediafire.com/?4fyzzzz2hzz)
     on my system folder of my r4 but when I test it tell that there is no cheats found! :(

    Can someone tell me how to put cheat.dat on r4?

    God that Yellow burns my eyes.

    And the R4 uses USRCHEAT.dat

    You put the extracted USRCHEAT.dat into the system folder.

    Also, the mediafire link is broken

    cheats.gbatemp.net/TEMP for the latest cheats.

    Actually, it's not that the R4 uses USRCHEAT.dat.. It's that the R4 cant use large cheat files. I suggest using the new R4 Cheat Code Editor to search for the games you want to add from the database Stanley supplied, then create a cheat file by pasting the cheats into the new file. This worked for me when I used the R4 (I only use it for media now that I have my AceKard).
    The reason for this issue, I believe, is the R4 has an inferrior software type limiting the amount of cheats displayed.

    Or, you can use YSMenu, that fixes the error.
