...or the control panel since this one doesn't have one.
I've had this TV for at least 10-12 years so it is pretty old.
    52ish" Phillips. Big boxy thing.

My parents are dumbasses and put the setting on Zoom (not Full), which as you know, cuts off the sides of the screen so icons in the lower corners are cut off and subtitles on the bottom are cut in half, etc.

I need a way to reset it without using the remote since my family is again, stupid as hell and lost the remote years ago, and this particular TV has no control panel at all to manipulate any settings, Brightness, Saturation, Sharpness etc.

I also need a way to adjust the brightness since it's like looking at a monitor with the brightness settings all of the way down.

Chances are there is no solution, and I'll just have to deal with it. Until then, my Wii will get absolutely no use until I get a better TV that is able to accept components.

universal remote, or some PDAs/smartphones with infrared can function as universal remotes with the right software.

My bedroom tv is massive old box one and this is around 12ish yrs old plus I broke my tv remote in a rage.

I use a universal one it doesn't have all the correct buttons and the main one can change to AV, volume check, on and off.
But then another code I use to access the setting to tune my snes.

I'm sure there is one code that has the ability to change the zoom
