How to load and Play PS2 ISOs

    Hey~
    I'm kinda new and I was wondering how to load the ISOs you can download for ps2??
    I tried using PCSX2, but it doesn't recognize the files.
    I usually download them in parts, but in the end I get file extensions like 002 or 003 ...
    What am i suppossed to do with that??? :'( :'(

    I heard somewhere that you have to write it in a DVD-R first...
    Is that true? ???

    It'd be really nice if you could help me... :-[ :-[

    you have to extract them first. use winrar or 7zip. For the part files, they need to be combined using HJSplit then extracted.

    how reliable is pcsx2? Hardware dependant?

    On strong hardware its generally pretty good. It can depend on the game though.

    it mostly depends on cpu, afaik it uses 3 cores but yes it is also game dependant
