    Hi,
I just got my daughters the Nintendo DS Lite for xmas. I found this site. What are the steps to download the games and get them to the game itself. I need from start to finish. I looked around and either the terminology is out of my vocab and im just plain out confused.
    If anyone can help, thanks.

First off, post this in the technical help section.
You do have an R4 and micro sd card right?
Okay the steps are as follow:
    1.Download the ROM
2.Extract the ROM anywhere in your computer using Winrar
3.Put the game which you extracted earlier into the micro sd card. The file name should have a ".nds" at the back. This means it is a ds game file.
    4.It's ready to run
I'm sure you might not be able to get all this. But just try it and any problems along the way you can come back here to ask for help.

There isn't anything technical about his question, he's just asking for some general information on flash carts and how to use them.

I know what a micro sd card is but what is an R4? I did some looking around and it seems you cant find them anywhere but online and most people are out of them or cant or dont sell them. Any suggestions? And where does the R4 plug into and the SD?

Personally I would suggest getting a CycloDS game cart, that's what I just bought for myself, it has 100% compatibility and it supports MicroSDHC cards so you can get 4GB or 8GB memory cards instead of just 2GB as max.

It might be a tad more expensive though, worth it in my opinion though.
