how do i get gameboy roms to work on bgb?

 

What is a bgb?

 

it was the name of an emulator from the emulator zone

 

Oh. Alright then.

So you downloaded this BGB. What games are you trying to run? Are they Gameboy games or are they Gameboy Advanced games?

Just right click and choose "Load Rom..."

 

im trying to run super mario land 2, the 6 coins. its on the gameboy color and i tried the load rom and it didnt work

 

Did you extract the files yet? When you downloaded the game it should come as a 7z file. Extract the files using WinRAR http://www.rarlabs.com/
You will get a bunch of different versions. You will want to use the version: Super Mario Land 2 - 6 Golden Coins (UE) (V1.0) [!].gb

I tested it out and it works on BGB.

 

we have winrar and when i downloaded it and then right click on it i cant extract the file at all

 

Make sure you have the latest version of WinRAR. Older versions cannot open 7zip archives. You can download the latest version on that website.

 

do i download the 32 bit or 64 bit one and what do i do when i save it?

 

Most likely the 32bit version.

Save it, and then run it to install the latest version of WinRAR.

I use lameboy for gameboy emulation.

It's one of the best gameboy emulators-all games work flawlessly-if it didn't work then it's the rom XD

(not conqer on gbc though-that's one of the very few that fail )
