FOR THE LATEST CW CHEAT (10/10/2010):

-put the file on the cwcheat folder located in the seplugins folder on the root of the card
CheatUP: upload your cheat database directly from your psp
CHEATUP - DOWNLOAD CHEATS DIRECTLY TO YOUR PSP

IF YOUR USING POPSLOADER OR OTHER PLUGIN:

-the pops.txt will be erased but dont worry.
-open the pops.txt using notepad and copy this: ms0:/seplugins/”name of plugin”.prx 1
-and then activate it by going to plugins and enable it, as shown above

Umm..sorry but how do you update the latest CW Cheat on your psp? Which folder do you put them in? I have never used cheat before on PSP and has not the slightest idea how to do it. I download the CW cheat using the link here and the latest one. How do I overwrite it? Thanks in advance. And there are so many folders after extracting....exactly what should I put in and where?

 

once downloaded the CWCheat.db, just open the card, there should be a seplugins folder, in it you should have another folder called CWCheat, copy the .db file to this folder. then make sure the plugins are on. you do have custom firmware, right?

 

Yeah, it's 5.50 Gen D3....Hmm...which cfw cheat should I install because when I extracted the file, it has INSTALL and INSTALL_371 both files contain the seplugins. I mean my firmware is higher so which one do I need? Thanks and sorry for the trouble, I have been trying to get cheats on my PSP like for 2 years but just couldn't get them done properly.

 

use the INSTALL folder, that one is for newer CFW

 

So I have to put everything inside the INSTALL folder?? I mean including the 'game', game150' and 'pops' readme files??

 

copy everything of the install folder to the root of the psp card, dont copy the install folder, just whats inside it

 

Do I need to add this to the vsh.text thing??
Also, when I downloaded the updated version of cheats from gbatemp and it has a folder call CMF. Am I supposed to put these files in a specific place?

 

yes, you do, but i believe there is one in the package it comes. just copy what is in that vsh.txt to yours, and then turn on the plugins for it

So do you know how to get it to work on Promethus?

It didn't work for me (As in I hold select but nothing happens)

 

it does work
open the pops.txt in the seplugins folder using notepad and copy this: ms0:/seplugins/popsloader.prx 1
then turn off the psp. turn it on and hold the R button at the same time till the vsh menu comes up. then go to plugins and make sure cwcheats is activated
and if the cheats dont appear, maybe the id of the game is different from the cheats, you can edit this using the cwcheat editor

Got it to work somehow but you never mentioned anything about it at all >_>

I had to go to Advance or something and I enable 2 of the 3 things that were disabled (game and pops or something)
