How to get a PS2 Emulator workin adn what all is needed to get it running.

Can someone tell me what all i need to get to get a PS2 emulator up and running and where to find all the components for it. Thanks for helping.

ok then if you say so
you need ps2 bios to run pcsx2 go to emulator zone
download the emulaotot of ps2 called pcsx2
download the bios of ps2 by torrent or by direct link
google *BIOS OF PCSX2 0.9.6 * download bios extract them to the bios folder which is where you extracted the pcsx2
now configure the bios I AM SORRY AS I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW TO CONFIGURE THEM AS I DONT KNOW FROM WHERE YOU DOWNLOADED OR WHAT KIND OF BIOS YOU DOWNLOADED
now click open and put the iso file and play the game
A WARNING I SAY LEAVE THE IDEA TO EMULATE PS2 I WAS ABLE TO RUN THE GAME BUT IT WAS VERY SLOW I CAN RUN CRYSIS AND CRYSIS WAR HEAD AT FULL SPEED WITH NO ERROR BUT I WAS NOT ABLE TO FULLY PLAY THE PS2 GAME ON PC AS IT WAS VERY SLOW

This is the offical site-that is the compatibility list-check out the names of what you want-it's specific and detailed.

Like looney said-it needs a decent pc-grand theft auto san andreas ran 15fps (half normal speed) on my laptop-2.ooGHZ wasn't enough...


It can run disc-but quicker if it runs isos which can be linked by a virtual driver-daemon tools or alchol 52%.


And you will need a ps2 bios-check torrents for those-google search never had any direct links so you may need to try there.

I suggest getting all 3 typs in one pack-nstc-pal-nstc J so all games can work.

All components are included-you will also need direct x 9c and or direct x 10.

I use 9c as my laptop struggles-sonic mega collection runs fine though since it's mostly 2-D LOL!
