How to fix the white screen error on Pokemon BW for an acekard 2

This error has been plaguing me for the past few days now, and I am getting fed up of attempt after attempt, failing to solve this problem. After downloading the pre-patched V7 pkmn W from http://www.mediafire.com/?s7241xf8kwgitct I put the game onto my acekard 2 and expected it to work immediately. This was not the case, I unrared the file so it would work, then I downloaded a firmware which was supposed to make it work (it did not), then I downloaded a different firmware (one more suited for acekards) but not even that worked. This white screen error has dampened my spirits however, I have greatly appreciated all of the help up to this point. I was wondering if ANYONE has an acekard and knows how to play these awesome games. Because I am just about ready to call it quits. :-\

 

get akaio 1.8.1. i dont get any problems with that. http://www.akaio.net/forum/download/file.php?id=145 make sure you format the sd card before adding this (backup games and sav files first)
