how to fix a psp game

i just downloaded dante's inferno for the psp and it didn't work. when i went on the internet it said it needed a fix. i don't want to redownload the entire game all over again because it took me forever. is there a way for me to fix it manually? my CFW is 5.00 m33-6

doesn't that give me the slight chance of my psp getting bricked? i also have some already fixed games on my psp so will that still work if i upgrade. what do i have to download and where are some decent tutorials?

 

No, 5.50 Gen D3 won't brick your PSP, and neither will the updating process.
Updated is much easier than trying to patch the games to work on 5.00M33-6.

You stick the update folder in the Game folder on your PSP and run it like you would a game.

Well, seeing as it's a new game, if it doesn't work on 5.50 GEN-D3 (make sure you have D3, not D or D2). You will have to wait for an updated firmware or a patch. If it's like KH Birth By Sleep then you'll be out of luck and can't play it.

 

there already is a patch i just don't want to go through 5 hours of downloading the entire fixed game again

 

I see theres a version for all CFW on another site and its a huge 1.8gb

It doesn't brick the psp, if anything it cuts out the dycrption crap, I've since swapped.
