Right, so I updated my first PSP's custom firmware correctly but with my second one it got kinda bricked, when I turn it on the power light is on but nothing else will work and I can't turn it off without taking the battery out, please help!

    Have a pandora's battery?

If so, just follow the normal procedure and it should work just fine.

I hope it was not the same psp I helped you update?
A pandora's battery should do the trick with a brick.

Edit: The brick depends on what firmware this psp was on. Because there is a patch that must first be applied to certain psp firmwares that allow the usage of unsigned codes, its called kxploitpatcher or something along those lines. But if you were below a 3.00 FW and tried to upgrade to 3.90 m33-3 or so, you would get a brick

If you have a pandora's battery already though it should be no problem. Be sure to let us know how it goes.
