How to control a MacBook pro via a windows based computer?

    I want to be able to control a macbook pro via a windows based pc like remote desktop on windows. I know there are programs, but i need to be able to use it quickly, and rapidly without having to fiddle around with IP adresses. Simply a one time installation. Also note that the MacBook is not on the same network as the windows-based PC.

    you have to use IP addresses, there's no other way of communicating across separate networks.
