how should death note have ended???

If you're like me, you weren't satisfied with the way death note ended. personally, i think Light should have won and the second season shouldn't have existed but even if you wanted him to lose, how would you improve the ending? Many people were disappointed with the ending so tell me how you think it should have been altered. If you're someone who believes the ending is perfect then don't post. this thread is for people who like to think outside the box.

 

Hmm, Well - I'm the proud owner of the complete series. Cause it came highly recommended. I Have watched and own numberous anime. I found it hard even sitting through the first two eps.
Does it get better? If you are that dissattisfied with the ending - I will not even watch it further... :

 

It's an awesome anime avalon, but your right. It was quite an anti-climax.

 

just stop after episode 25. that's when the writers intended for the show to end. they extended it for obvious reasons.... money.

 

L should of stayed alive and light should of Killed N in the end watching the end of season 2 made me cry inside

 

I really hated the way L was just bumped off....it didnt even feel like a death... i was honestly like lol, this is a trick right? But no it just carried on =\ Was kinda crappy.

Then Near and Mello came and the anime went downhill from there for me. I understood the ending and it was ok, but i think Light should of either come out on top and won or he should of been defeated in a way that wasn't lame...the dude went insane pretty much and it felt incredibly rushed :-\

Not enough character development between Light and Misa either. She was just shoved to the side as was his family. To be honest the second series sucked after L went off the scene. That's my two cents anyhow

 

Did it all end there? I seen something about a Death Note R movie coming to DVD June 16th while I flipping through a Shonen Jump mag. Is that a one shot or another series or just something else all together?

Well, there's always the DN movies. They're similar to the anime/manga but different in many ways. The ending of the second movie, was satisfying though.

 

should have killed n and then looked at the city from a high place hystericlly or jumped on a unicorn and skewered ronald mcdonald eithrt of those would have worked fine

all anime series should end at season 1

They make season to because of the anime's popularity, and most of the times ruins the anime by ading very strange plots that have no relation to the stoy in season 1

 

The Death Note anime ended just as the manga did, y'know.

I also prefer the ending to the second movie.

 

Light exposed himself to L to get L to take the bait.. He took the bait and paid the price.. Stop bitching about it, only thing that failed at ending was Lights sudden stupidity that caused him to get owned

I must say i prefer the ending in the new Real-life movies when L writes his own name into Misa's Note to stop Rems note

 

the live-action movies were indeed remakes of the ending to satisfy fans who were disappointed in the ending
