    Hello,

I have been a premium member for a month now, and still listed as one (since I picked up the multi-month pay plan). I am having trouble picking up PS2 roms from your site because they are being routed to an alternate premium download source called turtle share. What gives??

Our premium doesn't work with TurtleShare's.

So where are there download links to another site?

    What do you mean?
We ONLY host PS2 ISOs on TurtleShare.

I believe you meant to say "WHY" not "WHERE".

Because some files like .iso for PS2 can be too large to host in RomU's ftp, thus kept in a sharing site.

Wait, I download Wii roms off this site with no issues or routed to another pay site yet when I try to download PS2 roms I have to pay for another premium site to get those roms?

As prectorian pointed out, PS2 ISOs are too large to host on our servers.
So, we host them on an external host.

And no, you don't need to pay for another premium to download PS2 ISOs.
You just need to wait a bit and then you can download.

The PS2 library alone would completely fill our current server, with no room for any other roms, and we don't have enough money for another one. Therefore we use TurtleShare so that we are able to provide you with PS2 ISOs in addition to all our other roms. Only PS2 ISOs are hosted on an external site.

There's no need to become premium at turtleshare. You just need to pay attention to which button to click and wait for the download queue which takes roughly 1 minute 6 seconds based on my experience.

I just checked into that, I am trying to download burnout 2 in the single file format instead of the "hope for the best," partial downloaded pieces and there is no short downtime, I am seeing 3 hour wait times.

We know it's not optimal but it's either this or no PS2 files at all. So far I'm not even sure we can manage to have all of the Wii ISOs in scrubbed format.

The single file format won't work for a free user, turtleshare has a 500 MB limit for free users so the parts are needed. They should all extract properly, though. And yes, you will have to wait 3 hours between downloads, and yes that sucks, but again the only other option is for us to remove them entirely at this point in time.

Also, please note we do actually specify this on the buy premium page, we're not trying to hide it: https://www.romulation.org/buy/premium/
