You know what Im Talking about, the ones could care less about cutting-edge graphics. The ones that didnt need to play an online multiplayer brawlfest to have fun, the ones that knew the Konami Code for that oh-so-popular pastime game. There were no save states, savedata, memory cards......you had to sit there and play it...TO THE END. lol

    Those were the days.

I don't care about graphics, nor do i care about online multiplayer, although the beating the game til the end, nah since i was around 5 when the NES came out, i had one, no clue what i was doing on it though,

Heh...I know what you mean. When I played Super Mario for the first time...I was using the joystick to make him jump when I pressed the button.....I always thought it would make him jump higher.

I remember getting a few levels into mario, i liked duckhunt, but sucked at it.

I never got past level 1 in bionic commando

    Zelda 2 confused me.

I never got much into games until the SNES, never had one, but we played our dads when we went to his house

i got really into games when the N64 came out.

Starfox 64 was my first starfox game lol, i loved it.

I tried starfox for the snes when my dad had it, but never got past the first level. Me and my brother loved Super Mario All starts and Zombies Ate My Neighbors.

A game I really enjoyed was Paperboy/Super Paperboy...omg that game was nuts....

Have you ever played Blaster Master for NES? If not, I highly suggest that title.

Sega Genesis is my favorite Retro system. :D

I don't really care for graphics as long as the game plays very well. :)

I remember playing Sonic the HedgeHog on my Genesis when I was a little kid.

My dad used to have an NES, but gave it away once we got the Gen.

I now just play all of my games on my computer, Wii, DS, or PSP. Makes it a lot easier.

The only time that I use save states on retro games is when I can't play it often.
Other than that I don't/can't save the game.

don't really care for graphics as long as the game plays is good it makes me feel bether than a no sense super-realistic-grafics-game

most of my favorite games come from the NES and SNES, but as well i liked the some from the N64, PS1 and even PS2 and GC
i must say that i think the 2d games are the best, (at least for me) and i play them until i fully ended the game

Graphics dont mean anything. It's how the game plays.

I still remember where I was and what I was doing when I finished Mario bros the first time. I was sitting in front of the tv, playing Mario bros. =P

Finished bionic commando and lost on the last boss of battle toads several times. I could never get the hang of blaster master, but I dig the game and have the novelization of it. I used to rent NES games constantly, I miss those days.

Old school is having a shirt that says *classically trained* with a nintendo on it, or a shirt that says *blow me* with a picture of a cart. Muha!

i dont care about graphics, my favourite games are lufia 2, final fantasy 7 and the snes version of simcity. too much is put into graphics nowadays, modern games never match the gameplay and fun of the classics

    No they don't :)

Some do, but most aren't original anymore.
