There would be no way I would have waited as long as this guy did. http://videogames.yahoo.com/events/plugged-in/gaming-s-oldest-preorder-may-go-unfulfilled/1312328 I can understand a delay here and there but I think after maybe a month I would have demanded my deposit back and tried again later. (this is kind of older news but I thought I would post it anyway)
I think Final Fantasy XIII has been available for pre-order for at least a year now (if not longer). That's funny though, about Duke Nukem Forever. Poor guy won't get his 10 bucks back
What's the point of pre-ordering it so early? A game that is bound to do well in the market would probably have tone of orders by the game store. And your copy is always secure if you pre ordered it like a month away
I think these days people pre-order to get a bonus if it is offered, for example when I pre-ordered Legend of Zelda Wind Waker for Game Cube I got Ocarina of Time and the Master Quest version, which also tells you the last time I have pre-ordered anything.
Thats why I pre order. but the last few items I pre orederd for the " Pre order and get____" bonus ( SMT Persona 4.SMT DS2. InFAMOUS) you still got the bonus even if you did not pre order it.
Well, the game WAS called DNF. But yeah, I go to my local store and preorder (and pay for in full) all the games I want coming out the following month either on the 24th or 25th of every month. That way, I can just stop off at the store on my way home on the day the game has come out without waiting in queues or needing any money on me. I certainly wouldn't wait longer than a month for a preorder.
must have been very limited I have recently seen that disc used/pre-played and not in its original box in a local game shop for over $50.00
