Is it once the Paypal pymt clears? Usually how long after? and do you get an e-mail or you just have to keep checking the homepage for your status? Also, this is not the type of membership that renews itself right? It does state manual pymts only being accepted, and just want to make sure this is what it meant.
To my knowledge, the script for it is set up to give you premium as soon as the payment clears. All you can really do is wait for it in the meantime. To the other question, yes, you have to renew it manually every time.

I'm afraid it hasn't cleared yet, I just checked and paypal is still listing it as uncleared, there might be a bit of delay between your bank sending the money and paypal seeing it as cleared. Paypal currently lists "eCheck estimated completion: 10/7/2009-10/9/2009"
