Not switching any parts, just asking. http://pc.ncix.com/pcbuilder/pcbuilderpreview.cfm?id=3678965&skus=47459-1-0|33130-1-0|54757-1-0|57078-1-0|55583-1-0|52174-1-0|56548-1-0|58746-1-0|60731-1-0|7843-01. How good is it for my budget of 830$? 2. How long will it last? 3. How well will it run skyrim/saint's row/TF2/ most modern games (Specifically skyrim, since that's the main game I want) 4. Does it all fit together? 5. How good is it in general for gaming? Thanks!
get a decent cooler for a start, the ones provided with the cpu arent very good. there may be issues with the ram being too tall (the fins on the top may not fit under the cpu cooler) seems OK, should run any current games just fine.
A cooler is provided with the CPU, but its not a very good one. You'd be better off buying an aftermarket cooler. to find out if the ram is too tall, you need to look up the height of the modules, and the amount of clearance under the fins of your chosen cpu cooler (the vertical distance between the CPU plate and the bottom fin)
Can I get the cooler later? like march or so? how would I know the cooler would fit? it says here for the MOBO memory space: 2 x DIMM, Max. 8GB, DDR3 1866 and for the ram size 10.2 x 7.6 x 2.5 cm and if you meant cooler, im taking this cooler: http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6603 Would it fit?
37mm clearance, and since vengeance heatspreaders are 57mm high, no it won't fit. try changing your ram to something that doesnt have fins on the top. you can get the cooler later but its a huge pain to remove the existing one and replace all the paste, so it's not recommended.
