I want to rate games so i can advise people whether to download them or not how do i do it and where do i do it ??? Thankyou ---x---
so how are there rating on then ??? i dont like the new layout either sorry, but i really dont because its not as efficent
The rating was turned off a while ago due to some issues. It's being worked on, and will be turned back on when it's ready. And what's not good about the new layout? The downloads and everything still work exactly the same, it just looks slightly different (and is more efficient in the background where it counts).
It's just a matter of adapting to the change. People are creatures of habit and prefer if things they know stay the same. And I really don't understand your point that it's not as efficient, it takes less page loads to do the same now.
I'd say leave it out-other large (but nor hosting roms as they consider it ilegal) site have ratings...with both user and professional reviewers... I'm betting due to how many registered users never post here, they will mark up games too high or too low (ie legend of zelda being 1 because it's too hard, etc) compared to those who post here (which I predict 75% will post proper scores)... In other words-it's gonna get abused... I'd say leave out ratings and keep the comments-if people want to rate-leave one there I say.
That's indeed the reason we have disabled it right now, everyone rated the games either 1 or 5. But we're working on a way to get better ratings.

Efficient in numbers doesn't mean efficient in perception. A placebo isn't efficient, but people still believe it works, and feel better.
