how do you put cheats on your R4???

please help, nobody replies to the other similar posts.

 

you need to update your r4

download the latest kernel version


After downloading and decompressing the new updated files, there will be one shell folder and two files _DS_MENU.DAT、 _DS_MSHL.NDS.Copy these files to the root directory of TF card to replace the former files


after updating you don't need action replay code manager etc.

Why would you download v1.18 if you can get Wood R4 v1.08, which is much better.

When you say "system folder", what do you mean? You don't have a system folder in that list, so what are you talking about?

 

system folder is where the moonshell is...

 

But I can't see see a system folder in that list. And I can't see moonshell there either. The folder "root R4" is called that because you are supposed to put the things in it on the root of your card.

 

The things in it, not the root r4 folder itself.

You should have the 4 files circled.

And



You should have something like that in your _rpg folder. Place the USRCHEAT.dat into the CHEATS folder.

 

That's probably the most helpful thing in this thread (although you circled then in black on a black background).
