How do you Pronounce "pwned"?

Since it is of textual (more like typographical error) origins, it doesn't really have an official pronunciation so most people just make up their way of pronouncing it and defend that as the correct way. I personally pronounce it as owned with a p in front.

 

"Pawned" is how I say it.

Can also say "owned" but that's another word altogether

The word PWN came from the word OWN. Basically, it is actually "owm" because the "P" in PWN is a typo.Pretty much because "O" and "P" are right beside each other on the keyboard. ANd oftenly, peple type as fast as they can in games.

pwned is a thing of the past, besides pwned is never spoken, it is only typed, therefore pronunciation is irrelevant-

 

Actually, nowadays it is a popular phrase with the IRL community. My step brother says it, like, every 3rd sentence (he pronounces it "pooned")

 

I think it's poned, not pooned because the "oo" makes a long "o" sound
