I am really curious to know how to do these things.

you make cheats with a program called R4CCE, and you can get the codes for them from various websites such as http://www.codejunkies.com

you cannot dump games here, but you can upload them to megaupload or mediafire, and put them in the trading station.

    ^Not actually making codes. If you're meaning for the NDS system, then;

timmy1991 said. If you mean how do you get the .nds file, you need some special hardware I guess.

You don't need any special hardware, just a DS and a Flashcart. Follow the link Anandjones posted.

what i mean is how do you physically get the game from a actual card to a rom

That's what I meant too. But it was only a guess and I was wrong, so ignore me.

^^I thought you would need special hardware for that

You can't just extract a game from a card, you need a r4 or something similar.

    The discussion here seems confusing.
As far as I'm aware, special hardware IS needed to rip .nds files from hard carts. It's not possible to do with the flash carts alone (such as R4, Cyclo, Edge, Acekard etc...).
As for making your own cheat codes, you need to be a really good programmer to do that. Maybe I'm not even making sense.

I've tried to do it but I've no idea where to find the hardware needed (or what it's even called, looks like, NOTHING).
So if you're not a fairly adept programmer with knowledge with hex and binaries (and much more) then you can just forget it.
For making your own cheats, you can just check on the links Anandjones posted above. It's explained there. Keep your nose from bleeding.

actually I believe a flashcart is all you need to dump a DS game, theres a homebrew that does it all for you.

making cheats can be done if you're familiar with using a hex editor.

All you guys do not know what i mean. what i mean is how do you physically get the game of a standard nintendo ds chip for any game and dump it onto the website.

No, either you aren't saying what you mean, or you're misunderstanding us. I can't say any more than that.

my post said exactly that. How to make a rom file from a DS cartridge.

It's pointless Loony. They are completely ignoring the fact that step by step tutorials on how to copy an NDS game from a real cartridge to a file has been posted multiple times.

I'll post it again incase they'll read it this time:

You don't need anything other than a Flashcart (like an R4) and the Nintendo DS game cartridge you want to copy. (And a wireless router)
