How do Mario Kart DS cheats work?

I have and Acekard2i with AKAIO 1.7.1. I turned on unlock all courses, all characters, cars, and class. I also turned on each gold trophy cheats for each grand prix. All characters except R.O.B. is unlocked even though the cheat say's all, and none of the races have a gold trophy even though I turn on the gold cheat for all of them. Can anyone help?

Ok I was able to get the gold trophy part working and all of them have 3 star. Still don't have R.O.B. though and I was wondering if there was a way through these cheats to get the alternate title screen?

I just realized the cheats doesn't unlock the last cups in the nitro and retro grand prix in mirror mode. How do you unlock those?

go to settings and put the cheats on.

 

I said already I put the cheats to unlock all tracks and characters but it still doesn't unlock R.O.B. or the last 2 in cups in mirror mode!

 

Can anybody help?

 

cheats fro rob end cups arent working in my m3real so you must just end by yourself 150cc or 100cc to unlock him.
