How do I use action replay codes?

Sorry if this is already a topic, but i couldnt find any obvious ones so:
1. what code do i use? When looking up like for a certain cheat is see like over 10 different ones, and don't get, are they sperate codes or just all different ones.
2. How do i make them a code as such, like do I need to make code into something so my acekard 2i can read it?

You use the USR_CHEAT.DAT file.

Put it in the /_aio/cheats folder.

You only need the database from here. http://cheats.gbatemp.net/Temp/ That HAS the cheats. Place it in the /__ak2/cheats or /_aio/cheats folder depending on which firmware you're using.
