How do I use a DreamCast emulator on my PC?

I want to play Shenmue really badly (DC broke) on my PC but I cannot figure out how to use a Dream cast emulator and how to use a dreamcast cdi file. Can anyone show me step by step please?

Please have patience, people aren't always on. What emulator? It should be a load from the menu.

 

shoudl i make a chankast / nullDC tut like PSX? its pretty simple to use

Nevermind! I finally got Shenmue to work perfectly on NullDC!!

 

i cant even get chankcast to play sonic adventure :-\ it doesnt read the iso, i mounted it and everything. :-\

 

I have a problem on Vista. I get Chankast to run but the games are running super fast. I read somewhere that I have to fix the frame rate to 60 hz but my laptop doesn't allow me to do that.

 

try nullDC to see wat happens, but be aware setting the controls was a pain in the lower posterior, but so far MK Gold worx fine. you should download different plugins 4 chank to see if its better i got vista i still wish i had xp though. :-[

Load the image file from the menu. Which is one method.

 

There is no image after downloading the ROM file from this site, just the file of the game. How do I get the image file??? Thanks in advance
