How do I rip roms?

How do you get roms from the games you have? I've been wondering this for a while, but I have a large collection of games I'd like to upload.

If it's of any use, I have an R4 with a 1G SD.

you need a *insert technical name here* that plugs into your PC, you then rip your rom from the cart to the PC, as far as I know, havnt really read that much.

This program will dump roms from the cart to the sd card in your r4. It needs to be dldi patched to work. Also it might damage the file allocation table on your card. The damage is completely repairable and it won't damage any files (simply run a check and repair when you put your sd card in the computer) and it is well worth the effort to get roms from your cards without having to download them.

 

You will need some sort of flash linker which can read your cart or card and can connect to your computer. Many for sale online.

 

If you bought the R4, it comes in one whole set. It looks like a thumbdrive.
