I have the SPCH-7501 NTSC PS1 and i wanted to play my Japanese Crash Bandicoot 3 import game. I can't seem to get the disk swap trick to work. How do I do the disc swap trick?

Burnt? You mean like toasted/crispy fried compact disk? You can't use a damaged CD.

Ok, seriously. Your PS1 need to be modded, as in install a chip to read pirated CD's in your case, iso files written to the CD-R/CD-RW disk. If you can get it modded, just play on a PS1 emulator on your PC/Laptop, saves you the headache and money.

My buddy used to do the swap trick. Shit was so cash watching him.

It went something like this, although he only switched once so I dunno.

Can confirm that method works, but it's a pain.
I just modded mine. A lot easier.

Just caught that juicy detail. Swap trick may not work with imported games.
