How do I get Pokemon Black to work on my R4 SDHC 1.34 (4GB card)

Because I have literally tried everything.

I tried this tutorial: http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=47592.0 but I used the clean (U) ROM for it, and apparently Rudolph's patcher only works for the JPN translated rom because I got an error "Can't find the universal code pattern to be patched". And when I tried booting my game, it would either freeze at the professor or give me a black screen when I start the game.
I'd like to use the original (U) ROM though, can anyone tell me if that's possible for my R4 SDHC or do I have to use the translated ROM?

Tried this: http://gbatemp.net/t282025-solution-for-pokemon-black-white-on-clone-flashcards Didn't work, then I started to question if my card was a clone or not and maybe that's why it didn't work.

Tried this: http://gbatemp.net/t255489-pokemon-white-black-fully-functional-tutorial but then I heard that was only for the JPN rom so it's outdated. Also, he used a 2GB card and my card is 4gb so I might have some problems. (Can anyone confirm if a 4gb card is bad for playing pokemon black)

Tried Wood R4, WAIO, etc.
Can't I just patch a (U) rom and play it?

I'd just like some help here because I'm lost.

Anyone willing to give us answers? It freezes when the professor appears when you go to New Game. Is it even possible to solve?

 

Ok. Lets see if this works.

1 > Download the latest R4i SDHC firmware (v1.34) from their site.
2 > Download this: http://www.mediafire.com/?7m482z07trthssn
3 > Copy both files to your SD Card
4 > Run the DS into your original firmware
5 > Load "Wood R4i SDHC.NDS or Wood R4i SDHC (2).NDS if one doesn't work.
6 > Load your Pokemon Rom
7 > If not working (it might happen) when at the rom double tap "y" on your DS. Turn of Action Replay and Reset In Game
8 > Press "a" twice and load your rom again.

This should work.

I can't confirm that it fully works on 4bg sdhc card, I personnaly play Pokemon Black on a 2gb Sd card, I leave my 4gb sdhc card for other stuff

use it on your clean rom, you'll get two files, the one with .nds extension is the patched one, the .bak is the original rom
