you're best off using imgburn (google it, its free software). Burn at the lowest speed (2x or 4x) on branded media.

    Why lowest speed?

Okay, the guy said how does he CREATE ISOs, not how does he BURN ISOs.

You Use IMGBurn, and select "create file from disc"

Pop In your CD/DVD, select your drive, and rip to an ISO. You're good then. NOTE: Often CD-based (blue-back) PS2 games do not yield an ISO (instead a bin + cue or something else), but most DVDrips do.

    Hope this helps.

No. You have to use Swap Discs or use a modchip.

    What?
Mod chip and swap discs...a chip and a disc that allow you to play burned games on your PS2. :p
And PCSX2 is a PS2 emulator for PC.

Well, if you read the website you'll find out what PCSX2 is.

A modchip is a chip you install inside your PS2 which modifies it, bypassing the anti-piracy protection and region protection of the system. A swap disc is a disc you run prior to playing the game, which bypasses the anti-piracy protection and region protection of the system.

Okay, do you have THAT slim, or a super slim?

    http://neoasic.com/newsphoto/ps2_90000.jpg

A few mods (like swaps) are a little different on super slim 9ks (you need a different sensor mod) and a lot of them (most from fall of 2008 and everything after) can't run freeMCboot, which I'm surprised nobody hasn't mentioned yet.

    http://freemcboot.psx-scene.com/

If you have swaps, or action replay with your PS2 and it's a plain slim or super slim before fall of 2008, you can run this. It automatically runs emulators (and some PS2 games) when you install apps to it.

Come to think of it, you'll probably need to get swaps anyway, whether you can run MCboot or not (at least if you've got a superslim past '08 fall).

So, I need ya to tell me if you've got a slim or a "super slim" (which is the model they currently sell new in walmart) and You need to look under your playstation. You need to look right above the barcode on the sticker on the back. In a small box there should be a number followed by a capital letter (for example, my superslim is 0A, that means the first quarter of 2010). If it says 8b or lower, you're good to go. If it says 8c, it might work and it might not. If it says 8d, 9a, 9b, 9c, 9d, 0a, 0b or 0c than you have to buy swaps or a modchip (but I reccomend swaps unless you're a talented solderer, plus swaps are actually LEGAL to buy)

And if you're good to go, go to the freemcboot site to find out how to install it with whatever method is available to you.
