I downloaded power stone 2 for the dreamcast... When I extracted the files, the files were extracted in parts for example: pt.1, pt.2, pt.3.. In order to play the game I need the whole .CDI file to play.. My question is how do I combine them??
I'm guessing it is a .rar, .r0, .r1, ect. In that case just download winrar and run the file ending with .rar and it will extract the whole file from all of the parts.
I already extracted the files using winrar but still brock the files in parts any other suggestions??
You don't have to select any file in particular, just extract any file and it'll extract from all of the .rar archives. Also, by whole file names we mean both the .rar files and the files that come after you extract.
alright the extract filename is shenmu When I extract the files, the file names which they appear in are: kal-smu1.001 kal-smu1.002 kal-smu1.003 etc.... So what do I do next in order to play the game?? usually when i download games they appear in a whole .cdi file

ohh yes i did that I extracted the first file with winrar than the extraction stopped in the middle and said "file was broken" and then when i tried to extract the other files they would not extract at all but the first one at least did something.. any suggestions?? i think we are leading somewhere lol

I give big props to TirithRR I figured it out... instead of extracting the first file as usual I clicked the first file twice and then picked the program I wanted to use then i selected winrar than I extracted it from their and somehow it extracted to files into one I know most of the people are confused on what im talking about but nomatter thank you bro needed the help
It sounds like you had never tried extracting it in the first place. Although if you installed Winrar, it would have automatically associated .rar etc. file extensions with it.
no i extracted it but not the way the i was supposed to extract the file the way i extracted the file was i right clicked the file than pressed "extract file here" that was not the way to extract the file to put the other files together its really confusing to explain
I think I know what was wrong The file did not have the winrar symbol when I downloaded because I was currently using 7-zip so when i extracted it with winrar it did not extract the files the right way.
