How come my psx iso file I downloaded does not work?

    I have a epsxe emulator, and I downloaded the iso ff6 file from this site. When I load it through run iso, it doesnt work. And i when I load it through run psx exe it doesnt work. what do i do? i have all plugins and bioses.

    did you extract the ISO from the archive? If so, it sounds like a configuration issue

    My question is related, as I downloaded Smackdown 2, Know your role and made it into an .iso file through image burn and attempted to run it on epsxe. And it doesn't run at all.

    First question, did you extract the ISO or BIN/CUE files from the rar archive? plenty of tutorials in the tutorials section on extracting.

    Also if you're burning the disk you need to burn at the slowest speed possible. If you intend to play on an emulator you dont need to burn the ISo at all, just open up the image with epsxe, or you can mount the image using daemon tools or a similar virtual drive program.
