First of all, let me apologize if this is the wrong section to ask this, I have been lurking here for a while and some of the people here seem REALLY knowledgeable, so I thought I might as well try, by the way, yes, I know I fucked up big time, but please, dont be TOO hard Anyways recently, I tried unisntalling some programs on my Toshiba L500, and I think that by accident deleted and important file, no idea which. After that, it started going insane, wuth blue screens of death appearing about 15 min after the system booted. Now I wanna restore it to its original setting(delete EVERYTHING) but I have no idea how, as my mom lost the system recovery CDs...is there any way to go back to my default system? Right now Im on safe mode with internet enabled, and its been working wonders, but I would like to be able to go to regular mode
there may be a hidden recovery partition and a utility for making recovery discs, or you may be able to download them from the toshiba website. I'd try those first.
I already did, but I couldnt find anything. The good news is that with the help of a friend I found out it was a simple problem with one of the program my comp ran when it started, I just desinstalled and problem solved, if a mod/admin would be so kind to lock this please
