Hotel Dusk question (DS)

I started playing this last night and got to the point where Kyle meets the young girl on the stairs. But I had to go off and do something else, so I closed the DS. Then when I came back to it, I accidentally turned the DS off. So of course when I turned the game back on, it had gone back to the beginning.

I couldn't seem to get back to the menu, when I was in the game so that I could save my progress. Are you able to do this, instead of starting again every time?

 

Uh, if you didn't save and you turned it off, I think you might have to do it again

 

Do you know how to save? I tried pressing Start, select and all the other buttons, but I couldn't get a menu up.

 

Check http://www.gamefaqs.com/ or something, also it could be that whatever you're using to play it isn't fully compatible with this game. If so, post a thread in Technical help.

When you have freedom to move etc just touch your notebook, you get a main menu type thing there where you can save, look at characters, write stuff down and all that jazz

From the beggining of the game, there is a lot of talking before you can walk around, but once you can, just tap the Notebook, and then choose save. You can have 3 save files.

Good choice in playing this game, it's an amazing experience.

 

Awesome game, though once you know how to save you might wanna save often. I had a bad experience with hotel dusk occasionally hanging.

 

Yeah agreed on the awesomeness hehe, once i started playing i couldnt put it down and Solus is right, i had it hang once or twice randomly throughout too
