How come most horse related games such as horse racing games, Equestriad games & horse breeding games never really "clicked" in western shores? I've seen a lot of horse games on the older systems like the NES & the Super NES & almost all of them are Japanese titles. Sure I understand why the train simulation game Densha de go! didn't fare well with westerners as the Japanese people seem to be the only ones who are crazy about trains, except maybe for kids. But horse games are kinda fun, I remember having fun playing Equestriad 2001 & Gallop Racer on my PSOne
there are a few horse games for DS, and I have to say that I didnt like any of them, I mean really if you want a horse then get a real one.
But it costs way much more to own & care for a real horse And on that note, when I was really really young, around 5, I wanted a real horse, I didn't get one though But atleast I got to ride one on four occasions, & on the last time, the horse I rode bucked & almost got me off ;D
