Hook up Wii to PC Monitor

    Hello

    I have endeavored to try and hook up my Wii to my PC LCD VGA Monitor and my PC Speakers.

    I'm trying to figure out exactly what i need in order to do this.
    I know that I will need an adapter that converts the Wii Composite Cable to VGA for my desktop.
    I also know that I will need an adapter for a Wii Composite Cable to 3.5mm audio jack.

    Is there anything else I will be needing?

    I do not plan on using a TV Card. I do not want to run a program on my PC to run the Wii. I simply want to turn my Monitor into a TV-like equipment.

    So any help would be greatly appreciated.

    you need a converter box, that's all. the box handles both video and audio.

    a composite RCA to VGA converter

    composite has 3 cables, 1 is video and 2 are audio. All 3 go into the box, and VGA and a 3.5mm stereo signal come out.

    ah alrighty.
    Will this work on my LCD Monitor? Is there anything else i might need?

    if your lcd monitor has a 15 pin d-sub vga port yes it will work.
