    anyone watched/heard the anime gundam seed?

    its where they genetically design babies to be "better" like... faster, stronger, or smarter...

    in reality...

    That would be under spontaneous mutation, so I'm pretty sure that that's impossible.

    Gundams are stupid, I rather want Wanzers ;D

    Atleast they're more feasable than Gundams.

    Another "road" selective gene baby production might take is the one told in the movie Gataca, where selective bred humans become an elitist group where "natural" born humans are treated as lower castes in society, really messed up if you ask me.

    But I do agree on adding enhancements to us humans like Cal's catgirl thing, but instead of catgrls I want humans with wings ;)

    oy, this is gonna open up an unsightly can of worms. This could bring about a real split in the science world...Personally, why use this service? If parents had the right to choose the next generation, then we're all doomed. People choosing people just ends in fail :(
