Ho-Oh is like many other legendaries from other games. Pisses you off, and when you actually catch it, it's like nothing special happened.
use ultra balls they will work eventually and work very well when the enemy is poisened the easy option is a master ball but save it for more important catches this is what i found
if u have the time,use quick ball,i catch most of my legandary whit those.(kyogre,mewtwo,suicune,entei,raikou,latias,lugia and ho-oh.)
or you can get him through mystery gift if you know what to enter but it is hard to remember something like shiny gold rainbow or something.
we can get it through the gamecube pokemon coliseum by entering our party in the game to the battle tower but only works with the party in the game but make sure we have one empty slot or we have to do the whole thing all over again.
