people have got way more than 100kbs even without premium membership. I get over 520KB/s on a good day (when my net isn't being a pain it can manage about 560KB/s). I cant recall TurtleShare ever giving me less than the maximum my connection can handle at any given time. I know people who have got well over 1MB/s from there.
Right now it's not actually limited for free members so unless you're hitting the download limit then there's no point in upgrading.
wow lol so the only benefit is unlimited file size? why does it tell me mi downloads will have unlimited speed if i upgrade?
We're talking about download filesize limit, at least I am. Which is unlimited. Well you will, it won't be limited by Turtleshare. Eventually it'll be limited for free members as well. Every website out there always start out with a nice service to attract visitors, then once there's a good base amount of users limitations are put in place so that the site can make some money. It's pretty typical that in the growth period you run at a loss just so you can provide an extra good service. RomUlation certainly did this in the early days, eventually we just grew to a point where it wasn't sustainable any more.
