    Hi,

I bought an 8 GB Micro SD HC thinking I could simply download more games and songs, but I am now of the understanding that the DS Lite cannot support high capacity cards. Does anyone know what the max GB are that I can use or is there a "way around" this?

The original R4 only supports microSD cards up to 2GB. That's the limit you're stuck with unless you get a new flashcart.

First, upgrade to the Wood firmware. Wood v1.08 has incredible compatibility, far beyond what you have. Plus, it doesn't require the constant updates that YSMenu does. Just use Wood as a full firmware replacement. Don't keep the original firmware or YSMenu, as they are unneeded.

2GB is the limit for sure, not even SDHC. Basically, you need a normal, 2GB MicroSD card.

He has a regular old R4. SDHC is a no go on it. Anything above 2GB is a no go too.
