Hi there can i have some assistance please? Regarding Softmod Homebrew Wii

I followed a guide that was which i thought.. pretty good on wiihacks.com..

And i followed it really well and i thought i finished it. I thought everything was complete n all.

I then copied a game onto disk (it was a .iso) And i loaded NeoGamma.

It goes

Init Drive......

Dvd Err(1178), Disc ID.

Does anyone know what has happend or gone wrong?????

I have looked for it everything and this error seems to not be popping up much on google search and im getting confused. Ive been working on getting this working for hours n frankly getting tired now. So this is my last resort before popping the Wii in the lake for a swim hehe..

Hope i can get some support with this n hope i posted this in right place.

I just want to get the wii console working. Its a 4.2e and i have downloaded the Priiloader. I go on the Neogamme and launch it and all i get is that.

Has anyone got any experience or assitance/

just realised.. I installed Priiloader and never got this bit of the guide

Read the warning- Hold B Press +/A to install
After priiloader installs, it may give error or freeze- this is ok
Hold reset and boot wii while holding reset- priiloader will load
Select "System Menu Hacks"- Press A
Enable "Block Disk Updates", and "Block Online Updates", others if you like

It never came up with Priiloader when it was installed :/

 

more info, system version, neogama version, CIOS versions if you installed them, and why priiloader over bootmii?

new wii's cannot play burnt disk, try using a usb loader

 

they can there is an already new chipset that bypass it plus you can alsways sue softmods to make it works, and finally there is the option of usb loaders, but i dont recomend it thanks to each wii game having a size of 4.x G B to 9 GB You will never find a big inoff USB device an external ahrd drive is an answer but unless its of a terabyte you wont have a lot of spcae to play wii isos

The Wii Console is 4.2e tho. Sorry thats all i have at the moment.. I want to try USB loader. I have a USB loader on the homepage of Wii. But when i click it i get some error n said Reloading with loads of letters n numbers. (then controller loses sync).. Ill update on monday.
