    Hack RomUlation. Y would anyone want to do that? Whats here for them. Maybe they had no points... and no money to buy points... they coulda just got the roms from a torrent

    Generally its because they want control of our server; so they can use it as a zombie (=machine used for sending spam and/or participating in distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks.)

    Wow loony that was pretty techno. Well not really i guess. Makes sense. You just keep your Windows firewall running and you'll be safe from all intruders! ;)

    I'm sorry but if you guys use Windows your just asking for a black hat hacker, or script kiddy to come and try to turn you into a VD. Use Unix/Linux. Come on

    we don't use windows, we're not stupid. (windows 2003 enterprise is awesome though, providing you use third party firewalls and server apps). We use linux, and gentoo no less. :)

    Yay! Linux! I use windows XP (vista is screwed) but i do crap all with it. I play roms and google stuff but thats about it. lol

    I prefer XP as a desktop OS anyway, linux for servers though.

    meh, don't really care whether my server is linux or win2k3. For a Desktop OS, I usually go with windows 2K3 enterprise server, although occasionally I'll use Mandriva or SuSE

    And I second the choice for mandrive. My bro is running that on another PC acting as a DMZ and it run like a charm on a 16 bit graphics card and 256 MB SD RAM. Stuff windows users can only dream of.

    umm no? windows 2003 runs fine on 256 ram; so does 2000.
