I've been a member for a few months now and I never got around to introduction. My first name is Leanne and I am 14. I've been playing games for as long As I can remember. My specialties are: Crash bandicoot, guitar hero, Pokemon (D/P onwards), Spore (PC) and other numerous odd games. Glad to be a member.

 

I can say that you are a young gamer. Not by age, but by experience. Since you didn't play Pokemon Red/Blue, and your platformer of choice is Crash Bandicoot instead of Super Mario Bros.

But there's nothing wrong with that. I just saw that as a little observation. Welcome to RomU.

Hello Lea-Gamer, welcome to the forum.
This is one of the better gaming related forums on the Internet (as you've probably noticed).
The discussions here are generally intelligent and the users, moderators and administrators are generally good fun, tolerant and decent people. Their selection of ROMs is very extensive (their archives even include some fairly obscure, unknown ROMs that I'm guessing aren't really that popular and are stored for the sake of being completionist, which is admirable). From the games that you've listed, I gather that you have an interest in a wide variety of genres and platforms; Romulation's large selection of ROMs (aside from PC games and such) should serve you well in this respect

Thanks guys. I also forgot to mention I have numerous games for DS, PSX, Xbox and an NES emulator (megaman is my favourite. I like super Mario Bros 1, but I've only gotten to 8-4 or something like that). I don't play crash bandicoot or spyro much anymore, not since they changed into what they are now... I miss them in their old stlye.

 

Welcome... You're not a gamer until you beat 8-4. Or at least, some people.

 

Yeah, Spyro: Year of the Dragon was an amazing game, the ones on PS2 and beyond were terrible; the voice acting for the new games is horrible and the actual gameplay is rubbish IMAO
