Hi I am new to RomUlation....

Not having trouble in the site, it is very easy to get around and find the Roms i want except for one thing....I have bought an R4 for my DS and have around 50 games. Another site seems to be having major troubles and when I found this one I liked it much better. I am trying to figure out how to download the games I want and transfer them to the sdcard in the right format. The other site was putting them in .nds format and when i tried to get a game here it put it into .rar format. Can anyone help out? Thank you!

 

you need to have (or download) WinRAR, a program like winzip, open the file downloaded from romulation using winrar, and then copy and paste the .nds file onto the SD card. May be other ways, but I find this works.

as far as i know every file here in RomU is put up on winrar which has the file name .rar

but if you extract the files you downloaded, you will get the .nds file or for me .img ior .bin for psx iso's

just download a winrar my friend and you're off to go extracting and downloading the games you want

I advise getting an old WinRar program like 3.42 to extract the files into nds format.
It comes in handy for other things than just roms y'know...
