My name is Elmo.

I'm 29, and I'm having problems getting stable job right now because of my progressive glaucoma. Anyone out there who knows of a job that does not require too much use of the eye. give me a holler.

I am also a gay man. Really I am.

I however have no regrets on how I turned out to be (even if will become blind a couple of years from now) and am thankful for all of the things that I have experienced, whether they be good or bad...especially the BAD. It is only sad that people change even their ideals of friendship. It is true that you can change in the way you view the world simply because of the experiences you have growing-up, but it is very unnatural if you also change friends only because they have grown apart from you. Someone once told me that who you are dictates how you function in society, yes that is true but that is not a reason for you to be aloof from your childhood buddies.

I may be more senile now because I am AWARE of what is happening in society, instead of growing crazy about petty fads or trends but that does not make me less as a friend. We are no longer children now and we need to be more concerned about country's future, even if we are only a small voice in a frenzied crowd we can do simple memorable acts of love that are less fortunate bretheren will remember us by. We may be living now in chaotic pre-apocalyptic conditions but that is not enough reason for us to close ourselves and indulge in trivial activities. For now I've become an active participant and advocate of rhe cause Jeepney drivers are pushing through this being the appropriate benefits and incentives that they need.

Anyways, thought I liked to share that with you. Hope I can make some friends here!
