Doesn't work. Tested with original firmware and YSmenu.. Both of em got a black screen after 24 actions =\

Do i have to download their versions because I have v1.18?

 

R4li is clone firmware that works on the original R4.

And yep i did try it with 1.24 .

 

Previously, I was working with the original v1.18 firmware. I just now attempted to use the R4li v1.25 firmware on my R4 (not a clone) and it get stuck on the initial black and white "Loading..." screen. After googling, people said they got it to work after formatting their SD card and I did so, but am still stuck on the loading screen. I'd really like to test this supposed patch out. What am I doing wrong?

Use v1.22 or v1.24. If I'm not mistaken, those are both confirmed to work on the R4.

 

Don't download for the R4i kernal , it is for the R4 l.i.s cards only

R4li firmware 1.24 works on original R4. There is no official original R4 firmware past v1.18.

ugh, the patcher isnt working . i keep getting left with a 0Byte .nds file.. can someone upload the prepatched ROM on megaupload or mediafire? Please? I want to test it on my carts

EDIT: NVM, it works now

 

Did not work, using their 1.24beta and the patch. Still froze, =(

Edit: and using a legitimate R4

 

Take of the .nds file extention , mabe then the patch will work

if the file extention if hidden you might end with xpa-phg.nds.nds

And it should be xpa-phg.nds , but the .nds is hidden

R4 v1.24 kernel 2009-11-25 did not work for me (still stuck on that "Loading..." screen), but v1.22 did work, so that's what I'm testing on.

I can confirm that the patch does not work on v1.22. I didn't count the actions, but it blackscreened shortly after I ran in and out of a door a bunch.

 

wow, i think i can confirm this WORKING on R4i-SDHC with latest 1.18 firmware! I have 8 badges and ive enterd and exited a building several times. Woot!
