All the difference I can see is adding a little blur to certain areas to get rid of jaged edges. Not much of an improvement. The reason Collossus looks better is probably because it's taken from further away.
Hmm, that's a poor comparison actually. You can't see much of a difference and the screenshots are not identical anyways. I did see a high-resolution God of War comparison however and there was a huge visible difference.
Meh... The only comparison I could tell made a difference was DMC3. It doesn't look quite as jagged/pixel-ish as the original does. I'll haveta see it in person to really tell if it makes any kind of difference.
