    Am new to trying to download NDS roms. Have managed to download from this site and have even worked out how to unzip to access the nds file itself. so why wont they work? I have a R4 card and was given games already on a disk - these are from 000 - 2938 - these all work perfectly. The games i download show on the r4 card when i switch the ds on - it gives me the title page then goes black or white. What am i doing wring ? :-[

    Download the R4 card firmware http://filetrip.net/file.php?id=11472. (If you dont like the background you can change it)
    Secondly extract all files in the file you just downloaded and put: _rpg and ds_menu.dat or something like that onto the directory of your ds.
    Put the games on and enjoy.
    If you have a Dsi a normal r4 card wont work with it. Also this firmware only works with the original.
    For clones download this firmware: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=221023
    :p :p ::) ::) 8) 8) ;D ;D :D :D

    Thank you for your help so far - have done exactly as you have said and the new games that i have downloaded still dont work. They are in the list and i can select them - they start to open ( ican see the title page etcbut it still goes black.) All the other games i have on the r4 do work - these are games i was given by a friend. I just cant get anything that i have downloaded from this site to work. Is there something else i am doing wrong?
